I have little doubt if Ron Flanary had posted an article being against consolidation, that the majority of people who have taken to trashing him, would have instead talked about how great it was to have had a well respected man of the community, who has been involved in a great number of projects that benefited Wise County, who was tired of people trying to force consolidation down his throat.
And if any anti-consolidation person says otherwise, they are a liar.
Just like I'm sure those that seen consolidation as a good idea, if he had wrote that article against consolidation, would have been critical of it.
Its a very touchy subject, and people are going to have strong opinions.
Honestly, if Joe User comes on this forum, and made a comment that after reading the facts, they decided that consolidation was the best plan, they would have been insulted, downed, and the first chance that some could get, they would try their best to discredit them and vice versa if it was the other way.

Well here's one anti-consolidation person who doenst like Ron Flanary either way. Never have, and never will no matter whether he changes his mind on this subject 5,000,000 times.
